Dubai is preparing to host the largest celebration of its kind in the region of Korean culture and its creative industries, with the launch of the “K-Expo UAE 2025”, which celebrates Korean culture in all its forms and elements, during the period from November 15 to 18, 2025. The event is co-organized by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Creative Content Agency, to provide an integrated and sustainable experience that combines business and entertainment, and introduces the Middle East audience to Korean culture in all its artistic and economic diversity.
The participants in the K-Expo UAE represent a huge Korean alliance that includes 6 ministries, 12 public institutions and 226 Korean companies that represent the essence of the creative and industrial power in Korea, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Emerging Companies, in addition to twelve national institutions and 226 companies, which together form one of the largest Korean official delegations to ever visit the Middle East.
The launch of the “K-Expo” exhibition in Dubai comes to consolidate the emirate’s position as a capital of global trade and a center for human interaction between civilizations. This event will be the culmination of the series of events in 2025 and a witness to the strength of the partnership between Korea and the UAE and its promising future.
The exhibition was designed to contribute to accelerating the pace of global cooperation through an integrated business model linking the most prominent Korean cultural exports with modern innovative industries such as artificial intelligence, entertainment technologies, Korean cuisine, cosmetics, tourism, and design. The choice of Dubai to host this event comes in recognition of its leadership position in the region and its deep strategic partnership with Korea, which gives the exhibition an exceptional character in terms of its role in strengthening cultural and economic ties between the two countries during the current year.
“K-Expo” will extend across two prominent locations in Dubai, “Global Village” and “Dubai World Trade Centre,” to provide distinctive interactive experiences targeting business audiences and the general public alike. The technical side will shine with live shows highlighting the latest Korean innovations. As for LG Electronics, it will participate in the exhibition dedicated to the consumer audience, where it will display models of fruitful cooperation with content partners. It will present for the first time in the UAE its new service, “LG Channels,” as the first station within its launch plan in the Middle East region. It will also manage an interactive experimental area that allows visitors to enjoy a wide range of free programs.
Rak-Keun Kim, Head of the Global Innovation Department at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said: “K-Expo represents a platform where the creativity of content companies meets the technologies of large, medium and small industrial enterprises, to jointly present a new business model based on mutual benefit. Organizing the exhibition in Dubai will be an opportunity to expand the Korean cooperation model in global markets and enhance its international presence.”
