A Woman Without Masks…a new release that sheds light on Elham Shaheen’s journey

The book “Ilham Shaheen: A Woman Without Masks” documented the Egyptian star’s artistic career, in a publication announced by the Sharm El-Sheikh International Youth Theater Festival within its tenth session, which bears her name in honor of her long career and support for theatre.

The festival’s activities will start between November 25 and 30 in Sharm El Sheikh, and during its new session, it will present a group of theatrical releases.

In addition to Shaheen’s book, the festival is publishing the book “Theater of the Third Millennium” by critic Bassem Sadiq, and the book “Youth Criticism in Egypt” by critic Mohamed Abdel Wareth, in addition to the documentary book “A Decade of Dreams”, which monitors ten years of the festival’s journey.

It also includes the festival guide prepared by Ezz El-Din Hafez, and the book “Research and Texts,” which collects the most prominent studies and texts participating in its competitions.

These publications reflect the Sharm El Sheikh Festival’s keenness to enhance its cultural presence, by supporting theatrical knowledge production and documenting new experiences, and not just presenting performances on stage.
