"edge" Unveils 42 new defense products and solutions at Dubai Airshow 2025
ABU DHABI, 16 NOVEMBER/WAM/ EDGE, one of the world’s leading groups in the field of advanced technology and defense, will unveil 42 new products and solutions during the Dubai Airshow 2025 in its new session, presenting one of the most ambitious launches in its history.
The new lineup includes autonomous systems, smart weapons, propulsion systems, space capabilities, radar technologies and secure communications, embodying the UAE’s growing industrial strength.

OMEN, the future product of the recently announced EDGE-Anduril alliance, is an autonomous vertical-to-horizontal aircraft designed to provide the endurance, payload and mission flexibility of much larger systems in an innovative Series III, runway-independent airframe.
The joint venture provides EDGE with access to Anduril’s constantly updated LATES software platform, the AI-powered command and control foundation that will dramatically enhance the joint venture’s new and existing systems.
The company offers Jernas-M, a compact, medium-altitude, long-range drone for reconnaissance, continuous surveillance and precision strike, which accelerates decision-making cycles.
Vortex-E provides precise counter-drone interception while minimizing collateral impacts, while STRIKE is a powerful fixed-wing weapons carrier that extends tactical range for medium-altitude missions.
In a clear shift towards more qualitative solutions across the areas of cost effectiveness, performance, and speed of access to market, “EDGE” launched a new group of smart weapons, most notably the “WSM-1”, which is a long-range, streamlined strike option with flexible navigation and final retargeting enhanced by artificial intelligence.
The group offers Dark Wing, a modular autonomous strike system that can be launched by air or ground, with interchangeable seekers and payloads for rapid mission reconfiguration.
Thunder-ER turns obsolete aerial munitions into long-range smart weapons that extend the range of operations while reducing life cycle costs and simplifying maintenance.
To power this wave of autonomous systems and smart weapons and provide a resilient domestic supply chain, EDGE has expanded its propulsion systems portfolio to include piston engines, turbofan engines, air-powered microjet engines, and a full range of solid, liquid and hybrid rocket engines. These expanded capabilities cover propulsion systems for drones, hovercraft and rocket platforms, as well as rocket engines designed for advanced smart weapons, suborbital missions and future space launch applications.
Building on EDGE’s growing presence in space, Zenith is a new sovereign space operations and data coordination platform that provides a unified access point for images and data from national, commercial and friendly constellation sensors and serves as a central hub for discovery, commissioning, delivery and management of massive assembly and order workflows, giving mission teams a single reliable operational picture in real-time, and enabling safe, efficient and coordinated mission operations across the Earth observation and space awareness domains.
EDGE is developing its sensor and electronic warfare portfolio with new radar and intelligence systems that combine artificial intelligence, digital processing and modular design for multi-domain use.

One of Edge’s products is the KATIM GATEWAY X9000M, a pocket-sized, high-security network encryption device that redefines secure transmission.
This latest version in the Gateway series offers government-grade encryption in a compact and portable form for secure communication in all mission environments.
With full interoperability with existing Katam infrastructure, the X9000M expands EDGE’s secure communications portfolio and advances sovereign capability in trusted data protection.
