"I command you" Sign a memorandum of understanding with "Boeing" To cooperate in the maintenance of its aircraft components

DUBAI, 17th November, 2018 (WAM) / The Advanced Military Center for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (AMROC) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Boeing Global Services, to explore prospects for cooperation in the field of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for aircraft components, in addition to joint industrial initiatives.
Under the memorandum, which was signed during the 2025 Dubai Airshow, the two sides will work to explore opportunities for cooperation in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of components of the Boeing CH-47 aircraft, focusing on components for hydraulic systems, landing gear, electrical systems, and propulsion systems, in accordance with export approvals for the US Department of State.
The two sides intend to jointly evaluate the available cooperation opportunities during the next stage, paving the way for concluding a formal agreement that specifies the details of the future contractual relationship between them.
This memorandum supports activities related to the requirements of the industrial participation program between Boeing and the UAE government, as any projects or contractual relationships resulting from this cooperation can be considered within the framework of Boeing’s commitments to industrial participation within this program.
Jassim Al Marzouqi, CEO of AMMROC, said that this agreement reflects the company’s focus on building fruitful partnerships with leading global institutions, stressing their goal, through this cooperation, to develop new opportunities that enhance technical cooperation and provide added value through maintenance, repair and overhaul services for components.
He explained that this cooperation is a step that paves the way for launching joint initiatives that serve the interests of both sides, and that will enhance efficiency and support cooperation in the sustainability of the aviation sector.
For his part, Matt Fischering, Senior Director of Government Services in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at B-Wing, expressed their keen interest in the potential of this partnership with AMRC, which will enable the two parties together to contribute to the development of the aviation sector in the region.
The signing of this memorandum confirms AMMROC’s position as a major and active partner in the maintenance, repair and overhaul sector, and its pivotal role in enhancing innovation and self-efficiency in supporting the military aviation sector.
