Flydubai chooses a system "Astrova" Panasonic inflight entertainment
Dubai, November 19, 2017 – Flydubai today announced the selection of Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova inflight entertainment system for its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.
This came under an agreement signed with Panasonic Avionics, the leading global provider of on-board interaction and communication solutions, during the Dubai Airshow 2025, and concerns 30 Boeing 787-9 aircraft on order.
Daniel Kerrison, Senior Vice President of Flight Operations at flydubai, said: Astrova gives us a platform to deliver richer content, smart privacy and a more intuitive user interface.
Hernan Abbas, Vice President of Global Sales at Panasonic Avionics, said: “These solutions will play a pivotal role in helping one of the fastest growing airlines in the Middle East provide the highest levels of service, comfort and interaction to its passengers.
