Under the patronage of Hamdan bin Zayed / the launch of the largest edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show in its seventh session

ABU DHABI, 20 November / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, the activities of the seventh session of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show began today in the capital, Abu Dhabi, and its activities will continue until 23 November.

The exhibition, organized by ADNEC Group, one of Modon companies, returns in its largest edition ever since its first launch in 2018, to continue to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent maritime events in the region, and to set new standards of excellence in the boat and yacht sector in the Middle East.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNEC Group, said that the seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show embodies the emirate’s commitment to consolidating its position as a leading center for the marine industry in the region and the world.

He added that the exhibition continues to achieve remarkable growth, as its area has expanded to exceed 85,000 square meters, with a growth rate of 14% compared to the previous session, attracting 1,068 exhibitors and brands, an increase of 32% compared to the previous session.

He pointed out that the event witnessed a significant increase in international participation, with the participation of 56 countries, including seven new countries participating for the first time, which reflects the attractiveness of the exhibition and its growing importance. This success confirms the ADNEC Group’s keenness to organize world-class events that embody the vision of the wise leadership and enhance Abu Dhabi’s reputation on the international scene.

He added that this edition includes the display of the latest marine products and services, in addition to the launch of many new innovations during the event, as the event witnesses the launch of 36 new products and technologies for the first time, and the percentage of local exhibitors constitutes 31% of the total participants, compared to 69% international companies, in a clear indication of the extent of the development of the marine and local industries sector, the global appeal and the continued growth of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show within the agenda of global marine events.

For his part, Ahmed Shaker, CEO of Capital 360 and Events, said that the exhibition represents a pioneering event that brings together the most prominent leaders of the maritime sector under one roof, giving visitors a unique opportunity to discover the vibrant world of marine life, stressing the commitment to supporting the growth of exhibitors’ businesses, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, and accelerating the pace of development of the maritime industry in Abu Dhabi, in a way that enhances innovation and cooperation, and confirms the emirate’s pivotal role as a global center for maritime excellence and innovative solutions.

The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025 offers an expanded entertainment program that includes 11 distinct experiences for visitors, with five new additions aiming to attract a wider audience and provide innovative insights into maritime culture and the world of boats.

These improvements build on the success of previous editions, creating a vibrant atmosphere through various activities that include interactive displays and tourist attractions suitable for families, ensuring an enjoyable and rich experience throughout the exhibition.

The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025 will witness the launch of the “Yacht Rental Exhibition” as a qualitative addition that gives visitors the opportunity to explore the world of luxury yachts and distinguished rental options directly, in an experience that combines luxury and innovation.

The luxury yacht lounge accompanying the exhibition provides a sophisticated environment for networking and holding meetings, in addition to distinctive activities and offers specially designed to strengthen ties between industry experts and yachting enthusiasts.

Visitors can view a variety of luxury yachts, discover tailored charter opportunities, and gain in-depth insights from leading global maritime industry experts, making this event an ideal platform for making deals and exploring the latest trends in the luxury yacht industry.

In this year’s edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, the Knowledge Fund presents a series of educational sessions and interactive presentations, in addition to dialogues with maritime sector experts.

Among its most prominent activities is a special session for the sailing team, which allows visitors to learn about this fast marine sport and the conditions for joining its teams, in addition to meetings with the teams participating in the final of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sailing Championship, which gives the audience a unique opportunity to listen to professional sailors.

The exhibition also provides an unforgettable experience through the navigation center, which offers quick cruises and water taxi boat trips. It has stunning views, while the “Sunset Balcony” adds a sophisticated touch to the waterfront, allowing visitors to enjoy the sunset scene in a distinctive atmosphere that combines entertainment and luxury.

The exhibition provides an integrated family experience through the “Young Travelers” area, which was designed specifically for children to allow them to learn about marine life and participate in educational and interactive activities that enrich their curiosity about the world of the oceans.

Throughout the exhibition days, mobile entertainment shows will create a lively atmosphere throughout the marina, with the “Luma” drum band providing dazzling rhythms, alongside energetic performances by wave dancers, and a talented brass trio filling the place with music and movement, so that visitors will experience a dazzling festive atmosphere in the heart of the exhibition grounds.

The entertainment program at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show is designed to give visitors of all ages an exceptional and unforgettable experience, as the sky of the marina will be illuminated by amazing aerial displays presented by the “Al Fursan” team, while the evenings of the exhibition will conclude with enchanting fireworks displays that create a dazzling festive atmosphere, celebrating the splendor and excitement of the event.

The exhibition offers a comprehensive entertainment program every evening, including live performances by a group of prominent international musicians and DJs, in a lively atmosphere on the waterfront.

The main theater will host distinctive performances daily by prominent local and international artists, ensuring visitors a world-class entertainment experience that adds an artistic and cultural dimension to the exhibition’s activities.

The exhibition welcomes visitors with an innovative touch through the “Captain of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show”, the world’s largest floating inflatable figure of a flamingo, which is more than 23 meters high, 17 meters long and 19 meters wide.

The design of the model was inspired by the local nature of the wetlands in the Emirates, in a move aimed at setting a new world record in the Guinness Book of Records. He will be the “Captain of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show” at ADNEC Marina throughout the exhibition, becoming a distinctive symbol of this global maritime event and reflecting the spirit of innovation that distinguishes Abu Dhabi.
