A partnership that enhances global connectivity and gives travelers increased benefits

The Emirates Airlines and Flydubai partnership embodies a role model for cooperation in the aviation sector, as it easily connects millions of travelers through a vast global network, and provides Emirates Skywards members with rewarding benefits through the joint loyalty program between the two carriers.
Here are 8 facts about the most prominent benefits that travelers have enjoyed so far:
1. Open global network: The Emirates and Flydubai partnership provides a combined network of 245 destinations in 103 countries.
2. Broader horizons: Emirates customers can access an additional 103 destinations via flydubai, while flydubai passengers can access 107 unique destinations within the Emirates network. Most popular destinations include: Kathmandu, Baku, Krabi, Belgrade and Zanzibar.
3. Increasing new destinations: New destinations such as Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Siem Reap, and Da Nang joined the Emirates network this year. Flydubai also launched flights to Chisinau, Iași, Vilnius, Riga and Nairobi.
4. Noticeable growth in the partnership: The two carriers carried more than 5 million passengers via codeshare flights during the past year alone, with a growth of 10% compared to last year. Since 2017, more than 22 million passengers have benefited from the combined network.
5. A better travel experience: Seat reservations in Emirates’ luxury classes (first, business and premium economy) rose by 20% last year. Premium economy class bookings through the partnership also grew by 130%.
6. Seamless journeys: From check-in and baggage transfer, to optimized schedules and use of Terminal 3 at Dubai Airport, every step is designed to ensure a seamless travel experience. Flydubai Business Class passengers also enjoy enhanced services in Terminal 2, including meet and assist service, check-in in designated areas, and an expedited path through security.
7. High-value rewards: Emirates Skywards, the award-winning loyalty program between Emirates and flydubai, continues to offer a unified loyalty currency and exceptional rewards. About 18 million members have earned more than 311 billion miles and redeemed 303 billion miles. Platinum, Gold and Silver members also benefit from additional benefits, including lounge access, additional baggage allowance, and priority check-in on both carriers.
8. Earn more miles: The program recently launched Classic Rewards, a simplified way to book flights using a fixed number of miles. Flights can be redeemed on flydubai starting from 5,000 Skywards Miles to more than 130 destinations, including popular seasonal destinations such as Mykonos, Bodrum, Olbia and others. The enhanced Cash + Miles option on flydubai also provides greater value, with 3,500 miles providing a discount of AED 100 off the ticket price.
Travelers to and from Dubai benefit from both carriers’ investments in their products. Emirates Airlines continues its massive program to modernize 220 aircraft from its entire fleet and add premium economy class cabins. On the other hand, Flydubai retrofitted 15 aircraft this year as part of its fleet modernization program, in addition to launching a dedicated area for registering business class passengers in Terminal 2, which enhances the travel experience on the ground.
Emirates Airlines and Flydubai operate flights to and from Dubai with a fleet of 363 modern aircraft. The Emirates fleet consists of 267 wide-body aircraft, including Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft, while Flydubai relies on 96 Boeing B737 aircraft to operate its flights.
The aviation sector in Dubai continues its pivotal role in supporting the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, including access to a joint network that includes 400 global destinations from Dubai, with Emirates and Flydubai committed to achieving this goal.
