DUBAI, 20 November / WAM / EBI, the precision engineering company within the aviation, defense and energy sectors in the UAE and a subsidiary of the EDGE Group, announced its cooperation with Etihad Airways Engineering, one of the world’s leading providers of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for aircraft in the world, in developing the capabilities of operating aircraft components, including maintenance, repair and overhaul activities for aircraft wheel hubs, during the Dubai Airshow 2025, which is currently being held at Dubai World Central Airport.
This development is a pivotal step towards strengthening local capabilities and consolidating the UAE’s self-reliance in the field of aircraft component maintenance.
Since the start of cooperation in early 2025, EBI has succeeded in enhancing its technical expertise, raising its manufacturing readiness, and consolidating its compliance with international standards in the aviation sector, thanks to the close partnership with the engineering teams specialized in aircraft engineering and maintenance at Etihad Airways Engineering.
