"Ajman Chamber" : Forum "Construction continues" Enhances cooperation opportunities between construction and real estate companies

Ajman, November 21 / WAM / The Ajman Chamber organized the “Construction Connect” forum, in cooperation with the Building Materials Group “BMG” of the Dubai Chamber, with the aim of opening horizons of cooperation and positive partnerships between establishments working in the fields of construction and real estate, and reviewing the future of construction and its latest tools and innovations.

The forum was attended by Mohammed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector at the Ajman Chamber, Dr. Mustafa Sassa, Head of the Building Materials Group (BMG), Michel Deeb Hanna, Head of Business Groups for the Industrial Sector at the Ajman Chamber – CEO of Speed ​​House Group, officials of the Ajman Free Zone, the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, and business owners and investors in the construction and real estate sectors in Ajman.

During the forum held yesterday at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel, Mohammed Al Janahi stressed the importance of the forum and the main topics it covers, including the reality of the construction and real estate sectors and their future trends, tools and technologies that support the quality and efficiency of projects and speed of completion, mechanisms for cooperation opportunities between suppliers, developers and contractors, environmental sustainability and resource conservation, knowledge transfer and capacity building in the construction and real estate sectors.

He said that the Emirate of Ajman continues to achieve exceptional leaps in the growth of activities in the construction and real estate sectors, confirming its position as an attractive destination for promising investment opportunities, thanks to the economic components and advanced infrastructure it possesses that support business expansion and the sustainability of projects.

Al Janahi pointed out that this growth was directly reflected in the membership indicators in the Ajman Chamber, as membership in building and construction activities reached 5,560 members during 2024, with a growth rate of up to 9%. Membership in real estate activities also increased to 851 memberships during the year 2024, with a growth rate of up to 30%, which enhanced the growth of the building and construction sector’s contribution to the emirate’s GDP by up to 16.5%, and the real estate sector’s contribution also reached 13%. This will happen during the year 2024.

During the forum, Ajman Free Zone presented a presentation on the investment advantages in the emirate’s free zones and the integrated infrastructure they provide that attracts and enhances business sustainability and growth.

The Building Materials Group (BMG) also gave a presentation on the group’s vision and goals aimed at strengthening ties between workers in the sector, exchanging knowledge, and creating new business opportunities that support the development of the building materials industry, while highlighting the group’s role as a dynamic platform for communication and working to build a professional community based on participation and trust, which contributes to leading positive transformation and supporting innovation and growth in the building materials industry.

The forum included holding bilateral business sessions between the participating entities, emphasizing the forum’s role as a platform to enhance communication and a starting point towards a new phase of cooperation and joint work between entities and companies working in the field of building and construction, and developing recommendations and solutions to contribute to supporting the growth of the building and real estate sectors.
