The construction cost index in Saudi Arabia rose 1% during October

The index of Constructionin Saudi Arabiaby 1% during last October, compared to its counterpart in 2024.
According to the bulletin The construction cost indexissued by the Statistics Authority, this is due to an increase in the costs of the residential sector by 1.0% and the non-residential sector by 0.9%.
Stability on a monthly basis
On a monthly basis, construction costs in the residential sector recorded stable prices for the month of October 2025 compared to September of the same year.
This is mainly due to the stability of the costs of the residential sector and the costs of the non-residential sector. It is noteworthy that the construction cost index (CCI) reflects the price movements of construction inputs across 51 items of goods and services, the prices of which are collected on a monthly basis from various regions of the Kingdom, and the year 2023 was specified as the base year for measuring this index.
