American Sebastian Serpa, who won gold in the 69 kg weight, said that he feels very proud of achieving his first title in Abu Dhabi after participating twice previously, explaining that competing in the final in the 2023 edition gave him additional motivation to return strongly this year.

He added: It was a personal challenge for me, and today I begin a new phase based on this achievement achieved in Abu Dhabi, and I look forward to continuing to achieve distinguished results in the coming years.

Brazilian Graciel Bernardo, who won gold in the 49 kg weight, expressed her happiness at maintaining her title for the second year in a row, stressing that the achievement was the result of complete preparation and great effort to face new challenges. She said: Reaching gold again reflects the amount of work required to maintain this level, and I feel very proud to be in a tournament that is considered one of the most difficult and important in my career.

Brazilian Thalison Soares, who won gold in the 56 kg weight, expressed his happiness with his second victory in the tournament, stressing that defending the title against an elite group of the world’s most prominent players is a special experience. He said: The public support and positive energy in the hall gave me a great morale boost. I devoted many years of training to reach this moment, and being crowned in a world championship that carries a special status remains an achievement of great value.

Brazilian Jessica Caroline, who won bronze in the women’s category, expressed her satisfaction with third place after fighting 15 fights to reach it. She said: The competition was strong, and the gold medal will remain the most important goal, and what I achieved today is a step towards greater ambition in the next edition.

Canadian Lillian Marchand, who won gold in the 62 kg weight, confirmed that this achievement came after tough competitions against an elite group of world players. She said: I will continue to work to achieve more successes.

Brazilian Felipe Andrew Silva, who won gold in the 94 kg weight, considered that obtaining his fourth title in Abu Dhabi represents an important milestone in his career. He stressed that what he achieved gave him greater motivation to continue progressing in the coming stages.
