Opening of the 29th symposium for heads of training bodies of the League of Arab States
The 29th symposium for heads of training bodies in the Arab Armed Forces was opened at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, headed by Navy Brigadier General Karim Taqa, head of the delegation of the Republic of Tunisia, and in the presence of Minister Plenipotentiary Tariq Abdel Salam – The Director of the Military Administration and a distinguished elite of officers, heads of training bodies in the Arab Armed Forces, representing (15) countries, and Counselor Muhammad Lamine Al-Dah, a member of the Military Administration, to discuss and approve the study prepared by representatives of the heads of training bodies in their preliminary meeting last July, on the topic (the role of self-learning in developing the future capabilities of the armed forces and its impact on operations and training).
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister Plenipotentiary, Tarek Abdel Salam, gave a speech in which he welcomed the officers as members. The delegations, and conveyed to them the greetings of Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, and his wishes for the success of their meeting. He also congratulated them on their good choice of the topic of this symposium, which has a special character due to its importance, and the goals that can be achieved through military cooperation and coordination in the field of developing and raising military competencies, and coming up with a valuable study of the Arab Armed Forces, pointing out that the high level of participants reflects the interest that the leadership of the Arab Armed Forces gives to the effective contribution to consolidating the foundations of cooperation for work.
