The Serena International Squash Cup begins in Pakistan with the participation of 8 Egyptians

The International Serena Cup competitions will begin today, Monday, which will be hosted by Islamabad, Pakistan, during the period from November 24 to 28, with financial prizes amounting to $37,000.

The tournament schedule witnesses the participation of 8 players from Egypt, namely, Saif El-Shennawy, Ziad Ibrahim, Khaled Labib, Karim El-Hamami, Adam Hawal, Yassin Shahdi, Ibrahim El-Qabbani, and Mustafa El-Surti.

For its part, it announced The Professional Squash Players Association’s new men’s classification, and the Egyptian champion Mostafa Assal, player of Palm Hills Club, continued his position at the top.

Youssef Ibrahim also advanced to seventh place, after his distinguished performance in the China Open Championship that was held recently, and he won runner-up, and the rising champion Mohamed Zakaria also advanced to reach eleventh place and is close to breaking into the top 10 list.
