The US Deputy Secretary of State visits Türkiye, Iraq and Israel

The US Deputy Secretary of State for Administration and Resources, Michael Rigas, will visit Turkey, Iraq and Israel next Thursday until December 5th, as part of the United States’ efforts to enhance stability, security and prosperity in the region.
The US State Department said, in a statement on Tuesday, that Rigas will lead his country’s delegation in Turkey during the celebration of the 1700th anniversary of the First Council of Nicaea, and will also hold meetings with Turkish officials to strengthen bilateral relations, in addition to To meet with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew I.
In Iraq, the Deputy Minister will hold meetings with Iraqi officials, inspect diplomatic facilities affiliated with the United States, and will also participate in the opening of the new Consulate General in Erbil.
As for Israel, the visit aims to confirm the American partnership relationship – Israel will strengthen diplomatic facilities and ensure that foreign aid serves Washington’s strategic interests, the statement said.
