"Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority" Emirati heritage is the pillar of our identity and a source of pride for generations

Abu Dhabi, April 18 / WAM / His Excellency Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, said that heritage is a national responsibility that we are working to translate through integrated efforts that consolidate its position as a rich and renewable human heritage, in fulfillment of the vision of the wise leadership.
Al Mazrouei said in a speech on the occasion of World Heritage Day, which falls on April 18 of each year, that the family, as the nucleus of society, is the first incubator of heritage values, by embodying the values of patience, steadfastness, good management, and adaptation to crises and challenges, to strengthen family cohesion and protect it, which contributes to the transmission of cultural heritage.
For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, said that Emirati heritage constitutes a solid pillar of our national identity and a renewed source of pride for generations, and enhancing it is a national responsibility embodied through continuous efforts and innovative qualitative initiatives concerned with documenting the heritage and enhancing its presence, and enabling young people to contribute effectively to the process of preserving heritage, in a way that consolidates national values and makes them alive and renewed.
He explained that the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority is working to strengthen the role of the Emirati family through its various programs and activities, in a way that strengthens its connection to cultural heritage, and confirms its pivotal role in transmitting heritage and consolidating Emirati values and customs in society.
