Increased development work to serve pilgrims
Kadana revealed that it has begun to replace the old toilet complexes and replace them with modern and advanced ones, with the aim of raising the number of complexes to 428 complexes distributed over 214 locations in Mashari Arafat and Muzdalifah. This expansion comes within the framework of improving the pilgrims’ experience and supporting the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in enhancing Quality of services provided during the Hajj seasons.
Kidana confirmed that the expansion of health facilities aims to meet the growing needs To increase the number of pilgrims, especially at peak times, in addition to reducing waiting times and facilitating access to bathrooms, which will reflect positively on the comfort of pilgrims and the level of general cleanliness. The project also includes the development of health infrastructure in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and sustainable operation.
Repairing modern complexes
In a parallel track, the second phase of the modern complexes repair project was launched, within a framework agreement extending for three years, aiming to repair and rehabilitate 31 complexes, some of which faced operational problems in previous seasons.
The development work includes completely replacing wall and floor ceramics, implementing insulation for roofs and the first floor to prevent leaks, replacing water pipes and lighting units, And the construction of concrete chambers for the external valves, and the development of the structural elements of the analysis tanks.
The technical reports of the project confirmed that these interventions aim to end complaints that were previously observed, such as water leaks or the exit of some complexes from service, as the new rehabilitation operations will contribute to ensuring the readiness of these facilities and operating them to their full capacity, ensuring the pilgrims have a more comfortable and smooth experience.
