Military personnel declare “total control” of Guinea Bissau
Military personnel in Guinea-Bissau announced on Wednesday their full control over the country, suspending the electoral process and closing the borders, awaiting the results of the presidential and legislative elections that took place on Sunday..
This happened after gunfire was heard near the presidential palace, as men in military uniform took control of the main road leading to the palace in the West African country that has witnessed a lot of political unrest.
