The Emirates Group and the Rashid Center for People of Determination organize an interactive day to empower talents
Dubai, 28 November / WAM / The Emirates Group organized an interactive day in cooperation with the Rashid Center for People of Determination, in line with the Year of Community initiative, which aims to consolidate inclusivity and strengthen social ties.
During the event, the group renewed its commitment to empowering people of determination and supporting their active participation in society.
During the event, which brought together members of its Youth Council and a number of its senior executives with the students of the Rashid Centre, the group focused on the values of unity, compassion and inclusion on which the UAE is based.
The event included musical performances, artistic workshops, and sports activities, and the students shone with their talents, a clear reflection of the positive impact of the support and guidance they receive.
On the occasion of the 54th Union Day, students presented artistic works expressing their love and appreciation for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan.

Oliver Grohmann, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at the Emirates Group, said: “We are proud to cooperate with the Rashid Center for People of Determination to celebrate Federation Day and celebrate the distinguished talents and inspiring abilities of students while continuing to learn ways in which we can enhance the inclusive travel experience across our operations.”
He added: “We noticed a great passion among the center’s management and its work team, which reflects the spirit of dedication on which this edifice is based. Such partnerships give us continuous motivation to continue developing our services and ensuring that the travel experience with Emirates Airlines is more welcoming and smooth for everyone.”
For her part, Maryam Othman, Director General of the Rashid Center for People of Determination, said: “This interactive day gave our students the opportunity to showcase their talents, while at the same time enhancing the values of inclusion and cooperation that characterize our nation. We value the Emirates Group’s continued commitment to supporting people of determination and working with us to enhance ease of access and provide better opportunities for all.”
