Ajman Municipality celebrates the 54th Union Day with heritage events
Ajman, November 28 / WAM / The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman celebrated the 54th Union Day by holding a group of heritage activities in the celebration square in front of the Manama Museum, in a national celebration that embodied feelings of pride and pride in the Union’s journey and its continuous successes since its establishment by the founding fathers.
The celebration was attended by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, executive directors, employees of the Department, and government institutions in the region, in addition to a large presence of the people of the city of Manama who participated in commemorating this precious national occasion.
The Director General of the Department stressed that the celebration of Union Day carries a special symbolism, given the place’s ancient history and authentic heritage that reflects the roots of Emirati society. He said that Union Day is an occasion deeply rooted in the conscience of every Emirati, from which we are inspired by the strength of the union and the cohesion of the people around leading achievements and overcoming challenges, and continues the path of leadership and development with steady steps and an ambitious vision.
The celebration in the celebration square in front of the Manama Museum included a group of heritage performances and popular performances that highlighted the identity of the Emirates and reflected the community’s pride in its national heritage rooted across generations.
The department concluded its activities by emphasizing the continuation of its efforts to support national initiatives, strengthen the Emirati identity, and consolidate the values of belonging and loyalty, continuing the process of giving and building towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
