Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed participates in the silent prayer pause in Wahat Al Karama

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and the Families of Martyrs, witnessed the silent prayer pause in the Oasis of Dignity, which was organized by the Office of Development Affairs and the Families of the Martyrs to celebrate Martyr’s Day, and to commemorate the sacrifices of the nation’s righteous martyrs, and to take pride in their heroism and courage.
His Highness stressed that November 30th represents a great national milestone from which we derive strength, pride and belonging, and in which we express our loyalty and devotion to heroes who wrote the meanings of sacrifice, courage and giving. His Highness said: “We ask God to bless our righteous martyrs with His vast mercy, to reward their families with the best reward, and to perpetuate the blessing of security and safety in the UAE.”
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, during his participation in the silent supplication pause, that we stand today in reverence for those who gave their lives in sacrifice for the homeland, so that the flag of the UAE, thanks to God and their sacrifices, will remain flying high.
His Highness added that the sacrifices of our martyrs are too great to be surrounded by honor; They have reached the highest levels of heroism and bravery in defense of truth and justice, and they have immortalized their names in the record of the nation and the conscience of the nation through the values of altruism, loyalty, and sincere belonging they instilled in us.
His Highness stressed that the care of the children of the martyrs receives special attention from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” who gives the families of the martyrs comprehensive care that embodies the highest meanings of loyalty, by providing various forms of support and empowerment that guarantee them stability and a decent life.
His Highness said: “Today we salute the families of the martyrs and appreciate their noble role in carrying the honorable message of their children, and the patience and loyalty they offered to the homeland, and their sacrifices will remain present in the nation’s memory, preserved by generations, generation after generation.”
The event witnessed a minute of silence and prayer for the souls of the martyrs, at exactly eleven thirty in the morning, followed by raising the flag and playing the national anthem, as an expression of the cohesion and interdependence of the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates, and an embodiment of their pride and pride in the nation’s martyrs who embodied the highest meanings of sacrifice and the values of loyalty in defending the nation, right and duty.
The Martyrs’ Day event at the state level began with the flag being lowered at half-mast at exactly eight in the morning, then Wahat Al Karama hosted the central event with the participation of representatives of the families of the martyrs and senior leaders from the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and the Red Crescent Authority.
