Union Day is the title of an inspiring journey of glory whose details we live every day

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, confirmed that Union Day, which falls on the second of December every year, is not just a memory or a national occasion that we celebrate, but rather the title of an inspiring journey of glory, the details of which we live every day, and we add new chapters to its pages, with the determination we have derived from our wise leadership.

Her Highness said: “On this day every year, I think back to the moment when the founding fathers gathered around one dream… to draw the features of a nation born in the heart of the desert… and its ambitions grew and its horizons expanded, shaking hands with the sky with its great achievements… and telling the story of the Emirates that wove from the threads of the union a new dawn for a bright future… and proved to the world what can be achieved when hearts are united… and when human building is the true wealth of societies.” And the homelands.”

Her Highness added: “We celebrate the 54th Union Day under the slogan (United); We renew our pride in the spirit that unites us… old and young… citizens and residents… and in our all belonging to this country, and in our journey that derives its strength from unity… and in our steps towards a tomorrow that strengthens the position of our country as a beacon of leadership, knowledge and creativity.”
