North Korea launches 10 ballistic missiles into the Sea of ​​Japan

North Korea launched about ten ballistic missiles towards the Sea of ​​Japan today, according to what the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff announced, while South Korea has been holding annual military exercises with Washington since Monday.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff explained in a statement that the armed forces in Seoul detected “about ten unidentified ballistic missiles launched from the Sunan region in North Korea towards the East Sea at approximately 1:20 p.m.” (04:20 GMT), in reference to the Korean name for the Sea of ​​Japan.
