“Lubref” obtains approval from “Energy” to allocate feedstock to the Jeddah and Yanbu facilities


Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company (Lubref) announced that it had received notices from the Ministry of Energy on December 1 regarding the allocation of feedstock to the company’s facilities.

According to a statement on "Saudi Arabia trading"Today, Tuesday, the company obtained approval from the Ministry of Energy to extend the allocation of feedstock (24,500) barrels per day to the Jeddah facility until December 31, 2030, renewable. This is an important step in the company’s efforts to continue its operations in Jeddah.

Lubref also obtained approval from the Ministry of Energy to extend the allocation of feedstock (50,000) barrels per day to the Yanbu facility until January 31, 2038, renewable.

The company also obtained approval from the Ministry of Energy to raise the feedstock allocation for the Yanbu facility to (65,000) barrels per day until November 30, 2026. This expansion supports the company’s strategic objectives within the second expansion project.
