Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak witnesses the official celebration of the country’s 54th Federation Day

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates,” President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, witnessed today the official celebration of the country’s 54th Federation Day, which was held this evening at the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi.
The ceremony was also attended by Her Highness Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him,” Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and a number of sheikhs and women leaders in the country.
The ceremony included a visual presentation about the UAE’s ancient past, its modern journey, its most prominent achievements, and its ambitions that shape its future.
The ceremony also included light shows, costumes inspired by Emirati heritage, orchestral pieces, and folk arts performances.
The ceremony also witnessed the first appearance of the National Orchestra of the United Arab Emirates, which presented a musical work on the occasion of Union Day.
