Conclude Saudi Falcon Club Auction 2025, which was organized by the club at its headquarters in Malham (north of the city of Riyadh) over a period of two months, during the period from October 1 to November 30, coinciding with the annual auction season, with total sales exceeding the barrier of 6.4 million riyals.
It was sold during an auction Saudi Falcon Club, 40 falcons, benefited from 119 bidders from 35 auction sites, as 26 nights were held on the auction platform, which was full of competition between bidders and remarkable enthusiasm among lovers of this heritage.
The Shaheen chick that was offered in Al-Hasahis in the Jazan region was the highest value at 361 thousand riyals, followed by the Shaheen chick that was offered on the northern border (Umm Khansar) for 360,000 riyals, then Shaheen offered Sharurah for 351,000 riyals, followed by Shaheen, who offered Ramla for 308,000 riyals, then Al-Hano offered for 301,000 riyals.
Extension of the auction this year
The official spokesman for the Saudi Falcons Club, Walid Al-Taweel, explained that the duration of the Saudi Falcons Club auction this year was longer than last year, after extending its duration by two weeks from previous years, stressing that this The extension came to provide more opportunities for the falcons to practice their heritage hobby until the end of the falconry season, and to achieve an economic benefit.
He pointed out that the auction represents a prominent event in the world of falconry, as falconers wait for it every year to practice their hobby of falconry.
He said: "We made sure in the Falcons Saudi Arabia has decided not to hold an auction for the Peregrine Falcon and the Saker Falcon in order to preserve their sustainability, as the auction is limited to the falcons of the migratory peregrine falcon chicks only."
Regulating the mechanism for selling falcons
Al-Taweel confirmed that the club aims through this auction to develop the level of falconry auctions in the Kingdom, and seeks through it to regulate the mechanism for buying and selling falcons in the Kingdom, in addition to contributing to the preservation of endangered falcon breeds by preventing their sale and raising awareness about not putting them up, especially the Saker falcon.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Falcons Club provides a package of facilities for falconers, including transportation and housing services. Documenting the sale, in addition to broadcasting the auction on television channels and social media platforms, in support of this authentic hobby and its economic and social development.
