The Mufti of the Republic participates in the UAE’s celebration of the 54th National Day

Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Institutions and Fatwa Bodies in the World, this evening, Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates celebrated the 54th National Day, which was held by the Emirati Embassy in Cairo. In response to the kind invitation of His Excellency Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Cairo.

He expressed  The Mufti of the Republic expressed his great appreciation for the pioneering achievements made by the UAE in the paths of progress, development, and scientific and technological renaissance, stressing the depth of Egyptian-Emirati relations, which represent an authentic Arab model of cooperation and brotherhood, and that the ties of faith, belonging, culture and identity that unite the two peoples establish a strategic partnership based on mutual trust and joint work, pointing to the Egyptian Fatwa House’s keenness to strengthen its cooperation with Emirati religious institutions in efforts to spread rational awareness and combat extremism. And consolidating moderation, as a shared responsibility towards the nation, its issues and its future.

 

For his part, he expressed  Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi expressed his deep appreciation for the participation of His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic on this national occasion, praising the continuous development witnessed in relations between the two countries in various fields, stressing that the existing cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, especially in the religious and intellectual field, represents a fundamental pillar in supporting the values of moderation and consolidating the principles of moderation and tolerance, looking forward to the continuation of this constructive coordination with the Egyptian Fatwa House in a way that achieves common interests and serves the nation’s issues and promotes Its stability.
