Dow Jones position: US stock indices close higher

Closed Main stock indices in The American Wall Street Stock Exchange traded at an increase at the end of the trading session.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose by 16.05 points, or 0.25%, to reach the level of 6828.68 points.
The Nasdaq Composite index rose 136.36 points, or 0.59%, to 23,412.28 points.
The index also increased The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 188.18 points, or 0.40%, to end the session at 47,477.51 points.
