Before December 6… Sharjah Police calls on vehicle owners to remove Union Day stickers

The Sharjah Police General Command called on vehicle owners to remove stickers and decorations for the 54th Union Day celebrations from their vehicles before Saturday, December 6, 2025.
It confirmed through its digital platforms that violations will be issued against non-compliant vehicles after the specified date.
This step comes within the framework of preserving the general appearance and safety of the road, and ensuring that everyone adheres to the controls and instructions regulating the celebrations.
As part of its efforts to enhance traffic safety, Sharjah Police announced the seizure of 106 vehicles during the Union Day celebrations, in addition to 9 motorcycles whose drivers committed violations that posed a danger to road users, as the violations varied between making noise and disturbing others, reckless and reckless driving, and driving the vehicle without a driver’s license.
Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Ki, confirmed that the Sharjah Police General Command attaches great importance to controlling irresponsible traffic behaviour, especially during national occasions that require commitment and awareness from everyone, and that these behaviors do not reflect the spirit of celebration and represent a danger to the public.
Sharjah Police confirms that these violations are among the behaviors that most threaten public safety, especially during events and occasions. They also continue to intensify patrols and control points, and take legal measures against violators. In order to enhance the security and safety of all members of society.
