Najwa Fouad reveals the developments in her health condition after a second surgery: I am doing well, thank God

Egyptian artist Nagwa Fouad underwent a second surgery during the past few days, confirming that her health condition has improved and that she is currently undergoing laparoscopic sessions. She said in statements to “Cairo 24”: “Praise be to God, I am better now, and I thank all the people who prayed for me and checked on me.”

She had previously announced that she would undergo a back operation due to a vertebra that caused complications. She explained that her health condition does not currently allow her to return to artistic work, adding: “There are no artistic works right now… I don’t even have time to look at paper, even though my psychological state is good and I am satisfied with what God gives me.”

It is noteworthy that Najwa Fouad had sent an appeal to the Minister of Culture, Ahmed Fouad Hanno, asking him to pay attention to the conditions of great artists who face difficult health and living conditions after many years of giving.
