Russia: We support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin affirmed the firmness of his country’s position towards , stressing that supporting legitimate rights and the establishment of its independent state constitutes a fundamental pillar of the Middle East.
In a press statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry, on Thursday, Vershinin explained that Moscow continues to play an active role in efforts to achieve regional stability, by supporting diplomatic paths and coordinating positions with international partners to prevent the escalation of tensions in the region.
