A tragic accident in Algeria: 14 killed and 34 others injured in a bus overturn

14 people were killed and 34 others were injured yesterday, Saturday, in a bus transporting passengers that overturned in southern Algeria, according to a Civil Defense statement.
Pictures published by local media showed the bus upside down on its roof next to a road in the town of Tabalbala, about 400 kilometers south of the city of Bashar, in the south of the country.
The bus carrying passengers deviated and overturned while traveling on the highway linking the cities of Bechar and Tindouf, in the far south of Algeria.
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune expressed his deep sadness over the accident, offering his condolences to the families of the victims.
This is the deadliest traffic accident since August, when a bus carrying passengers collapsed in a valley near Algiers, killing 18 people.
