The President of Ecuador opens the headquarters of his country’s embassy in Abu Dhabi

Yesterday morning, the President of the Republic of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, opened the headquarters of his country’s embassy in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of the Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, and the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, the Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Omar Sultan Al Olama.

The opening ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of the Republic of Ecuador, Somerfield Rosero Maria Gabriela, the non-resident Ambassador of the State to the Republic of Ecuador, Ibrahim Salem Al-Alawi, the Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to the State, Felipe Ribadeneira Molestina, a number of officials from both countries, and ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries accredited to the State.

The opening embodied a new milestone in the path of Emirati-Ecuadorian relations, and reflected the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.

In his speech, Daniel Noboa stressed his pride in the strong friendly relations between his country and the UAE, which are based on trust, mutual respect, and a constant aspiration to achieve prosperity and well-being for the peoples of both countries.

He said: “We in Ecuador cherish our strong friendly relations with the UAE, and we extend the hand of cooperation and progress to countries with which we share values ​​and ambitions. Ecuador will remain open to cooperation with the UAE, in which we find an honest and reliable partner that believes in the values ​​of justice and progress in a way that brings goodness and prosperity to the people.”

For her part, Gabriella Sommerfeld expressed her happiness at being in Abu Dhabi and participating in this important event, which reflects the strength of relations with the UAE, which are based on trust, mutual respect, and common interests, and are based on a clear vision that serves the peoples of both countries.

She said: “The UAE is a true friend and partner. Through the official visits exchanged between the two countries and the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding, we have established fruitful cooperation in all sectors related to our development priorities.”

She pointed out that the opening of her country’s embassy headquarters in Abu Dhabi confirms Ecuador’s firm commitment to deepening these strategic relations, expressing her thanks to the UAE for the warm reception, and her aspiration for further growth and development in these distinguished relations.

For his part, Felipe Ribadeneira Molestina stressed that the opening of the headquarters of his country’s embassy in Abu Dhabi reflects the common desire of the two countries to deepen and strengthen their relations of cooperation and partnership at various levels, praising the leading position that the UAE enjoys at the regional and international levels.
