He does not want to die while he is separated from her.. Meghan Markle communicates with her father after his health deteriorates

The Daily Mail revealed that Thomas Markle, 81 years old and a former lighting director in Hollywood, is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in the Philippines after an urgent surgery that lasted 3 hours to amputate part of his left leg. The operation was performed after a large blood clot was discovered, which quickly led to the deterioration of the condition of his foot, leaving him in a critical condition.
Thomas Markle had communicated with his daughter, saying: “I do not want to die while we are apart,” expressing his desire to see his son-in-law, Prince Harry, and his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, before it is too late.
Although Meghan initially tried to contact her father via email, the address used was not effective, and she has now been able to send the message via trusted contacts, and the message is said to have reached him safely.
A spokesman for the Duchess of Sussex confirmed that Meghan took the step after reports emerged that she was calling hospitals across the Philippines to try to find her father. Thomas Markle has since been moved out of the intensive care unit, and is expected to remain in hospital for about a week before being transferred to a rehabilitation centre. He will undergo a long recovery process lasting several months, with plans to have a prosthetic limb fitted once his leg has recovered.
The reason for the separation of Meghan and her father dates back to 2018, when Thomas Markle took pictures and gave them to the paparazzi on the eve of his daughter’s wedding, which led to constant tension between them. He was unable to accompany her to St George’s Chapel, and has never met Harry or their grandchildren.
