It strengthened the field work system and raised the readiness of the municipal service centers spread in Al-Mash’ar, as part of its operational plan for the Hajj season 1447 AH. In order to ensure the continuity of municipal services and raise the efficiency of operational performance to serve the guests of God.
Enhancing oversight tours
Field teams follow up on health control work on food stores and catering sites, in addition to intensifying cleaning and environmental sanitation work and removing waste on an ongoing basis, while strengthening oversight tours to address negative phenomena that may affect the health and safety of pilgrims, in a way that contributes to maintaining a healthy environment within the holy sites.
The Ministry explained that its operational plan For the Hajj season, more than 22,000 human cadres were operated, supported by more than 3,000 equipment and machinery, in addition to the operation of more than 88,000 waste units.
While the quantities of waste removed in the Holy Sites exceeded more than 15,800 tons, within an integrated system for cleaning and environmental sanitation work.

Reports and emergency cases are processed around the clock; This ensures the speed of response and continuity of municipal services, and enhances the efficiency of handling reports related to public cleanliness, environmental sanitation, and field services in the Holy Sites.
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing confirmed the continued implementation of its operational and supervisory plans according to an integrated system that works around the clock, with the aim of improving the quality of municipal services provided to the guests of God, and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
