Al Ain Red Crescent launches a campaign "Warm winter"

Al Ain, December 18 / WAM / Today, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority – Al Ain Center implemented a humanitarian campaign under the title “Warm Winter”, targeting workers affiliated with the Al Ain Municipality.

The event, which was held at the Al Ain Municipality headquarters, was attended by Dr. Ahmed Obaid Al Dhaheri, Director of the Red Crescent Center in Al Ain, Engineer Suwaidan Al Ketbi, Director of Al Tawiyah Municipality, Mohammed Matar Al Neyadi, Director of the Municipal Presence Center in Al Tawiyah, and Hamda Rashid Al Dhaheri, Head of the Community Services and Customer Happiness Department in Al Tawiyah.

The campaign included distributing complete winter bags to workers, in addition to providing lunches.

Al Dhaheri stressed that this initiative comes within the activities of the “Year of Community” and in fruitful cooperation with the Al Ain Municipality. It also serves as a bridge for communication with the category of workers who represent a vital part of the fabric of society, noting that the Red Crescent is always keen to touch on their seasonal needs and provide them with means of comfort.

Mohammed Matar Al Neyadi explained that this initiative is launched in cooperation with the Red Crescent to consolidate the spirit of giving in society, noting that it reflects the state’s directions aimed at deepening the bonds of solidarity and improving the system of humanitarian and volunteer work.

The beneficiary workers expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and the participating entities.
