Hazza bin Zayed witnesses the graduation ceremony of Khalifa bin Zayed Air College
Al Ain, December 18 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain region, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the 55th course of pilot candidates, the 15th female course of the Khalifa bin Zayed Air College, and the Zayed Military University 1 course, in the Al Ain region.
His Highness congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in their professional and military careers by translating the knowledge and skills they have acquired into enhancing the readiness of our armed forces and preserving the nation’s security and stability. His Highness praised the college’s success in the fields of military training and education, and the advanced programs it offers that graduate national cadres capable of keeping pace with technical and scientific developments in the field of aviation and air defence.
The graduation ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem, then Brigadier General Saif Abdullah Al Musafiri, Commander of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the sponsor of the ceremony and the attendees, stressing that this graduation reflects the advanced status that the college has reached, and embodies its keenness to prepare officers with the highest levels of competence and discipline, according to high training and scientific standards that keep pace with the aspirations of the armed forces and their future needs.
After that, the graduates performed in a military parade in front of the main stage, and then took the oath of loyalty to the nation and its leadership by saying that they would be “loyal to the State of the United Arab Emirates and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, “may God protect him,” and that they would preserve the security and independence of our country, protect its borders and skies, and obey orders issued by their superiors and implement them on land, sea, and air, and preserve their weapons.”
In a speech addressed to the graduates, the Commander of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College stressed that receiving the honor of graduating from the college represents the beginning of a new phase in their military career, calling on them to demonstrate a spirit of discipline and responsibility, and to be a model of dedication and generosity in defending the nation and preserving its achievements under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”
His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan handed over certificates of excellence to the top graduates in the course in recognition of their efforts and in honor of their excellence and academic excellence, wishing them further success and excellence in performing their national duty during their career within the ranks of the Armed Forces.
After that, the ceremony of handing over the flag from the 55th session to the 56th session took place, accompanied by the flag oath for the graduates to keep it high. The ceremony concluded with the column leaving the celebration field in the form of a military parade that reflects the spirit of pride and belonging to the armed forces. Then His Highness took souvenir photos with the graduates.
The graduation ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Excellency Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces; His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police; A number of senior officers of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense, officials, and families of graduates.
