The Ministry of Education announced the start of applications for the “Competitor Capabilities Development”, directed to male and female students in the first year of secondary school, as part of its efforts to enhance early academic excellence and raise students’ readiness to enroll in the best international universities, through an integrated system that combines academic, linguistic and cultural preparation, under the supervision of an elite group of specialized trainers and mentors.

The “Capabilities Development Competitor” program is a qualitative initiative aimed at building an advanced academic path for students from the secondary stage, by preparing them scientifically, linguistically and culturally, including It keeps pace with admission requirements in international universities, and enhances their chances in future scholarship programs.

The program is based on building A solid academic foundation enables students to succeed in the university stage and scholarship programmes, and develop cultural adaptation and communication skills in multiple educational environments, in addition to enhancing linguistic proficiency in the English language in preparation for studying abroad, and enabling students to meet the requirements for admission to international universities.

The “Capacity Development Competition” offers a package of qualitative advantages, including intensive linguistic preparation, comprehensive academic preparation, and counseling and guidance sessions to support students in choosing… Future majors, in addition to providing opportunities for extracurricular activities that support the development of their skills, and providing technical and guidance support in application procedures for international universities.

The program is implemented during the evening period at a rate ranging between 5 and 10 hours per week throughout the academic year, with the possibility of increasing the hours when needed, taking into account the dates of school tests. The program is offered in two modes, which include distance education through electronic lectures and activities with careful monitoring of attendance and interaction, in addition to in-person workshops held when needed to support specific training aspects. The program was designed to ensure that it does not conflict with regular study in schools.

The Ministry stipulated that in order to join the program, the student must be of Saudi nationality, enrolled in the first year of secondary school at the time of application, and that his final academic average should not be less than 95%, with the desire to obtain a scholarship to obtain a scholarship. University qualification, and obtaining guardian approval.

Final acceptance requires passing the required competitor program exams, passing the comparison, and committing to attendance and interaction throughout the duration of the program, with the need to provide an official excuse in the event of absence or apology.

The Ministry explained that application is available through a dedicated window on the “My School” platform, by choosing the option “Yes, I would like to apply” to register for the initial nomination, provided that a message is sent to the guardian to confirm the student’s desire to register through the platform.

The candidates will also be contacted via email or phone number. The mobile phone registered on the platform to complete the next stages, which include performing and passing the central competition test, then passing the differentiation.

The Ministry of Education stressed the importance of adhering to a number of instructions to ensure the continuation of students in the program, most notably following the mobile number and email registered in the Noor system and the Madrasati platform, ensuring that the data is updated in coordination with the school, adhering to the test dates, and responding to the messages and instructions of the program team, as failure to respond may lead to exclusion.

It also stressed the necessity of providing A personal computer and an Internet connection, noting that the program is offered for two hours a day in the evening during weekdays, and that absence or non-compliance with attendance leads to exclusion from the program.
