Trucks are prohibited during the Christmas and New Year period in Lebanon

The Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al-Hajjar, issued a decision prohibiting the movement of trucks on all Lebanese territories during the Christmas and New Year period..
The decision, which was reported by the National News Agency, stated that based on the proposal of the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces and in the interests of public safety and public order, it was decided to prevent the movement of trucks from tomorrow, Wednesday, until the evening of the day after tomorrow, Thursday, and on the Wednesday after the next until the evening of the Thursday after the next. .
Excluded from this decision are military trucks and vehicles of all types and categories, fire and civil defense vehicles, the Lebanese and international Red Cross, fuel and gas transport tanks, water transport tanks, trucks transporting grain, wheat, corn and barley, trucks transporting flour and livestock coming through the port of Beirut, trucks transporting waste and refrigerated containers transporting agricultural products of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, medicines and drinking water..
The decision mandated the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces and the Municipal Police to implement the content of this decision and take legal measures against violators in accordance with the rules.
