المملكة: Preparing special paths for the elderly and people with disabilities in the Grand Mosque


The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has allocated special paths for the elderly and people with disabilities inside the Grand Mosque. With the aim of The Authoritythat these tracks were carefully distributed in strategic locations, including: Ajyad Bridge, Al-Marwa Elevators, Al-Arqam Bridge, and Al-Arqam Elevators, in a way that facilitates Mobility and reduces the hardship that these groups may face while entering and exiting, or moving between floors of the Grand Mosque.

The authority indicated that the allocation of these paths comes within an integrated system of services that aim to take into account the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities, and provide smooth access to various facilities, which reflects the keenness of the wise leadership – may God support it – to serve those who go to the Holy House of God in accordance with the highest humanitarian standards.
