629 horses participated in 13 "Test race" In the fields of the state

Dubai, December 24 / WAM / The Emirates Horse Racing Authority announced the participation of 629 horses in 13 trial races since the start of the current season at various tracks in the country, after meeting the prescribed conditions.
The Authority confirmed in its report, today, on the occasion of the events’ arrival at the 13th station at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai yesterday, that the success of the trial races culminates in the efforts of continuous cooperation with all tracks, to achieve the desired goals, and to approve the registration of horses officially in their records.
She revealed that 34 purebred Arabian and hybrid horses participated in 5 runs over a distance of 1000 metres, in the 13th trial race yesterday on the Meydan track, which included 4 runs for purebred Arabian horses with the participation of 27 horses, including 13 horses that had never participated in the races, and 14 that participated in them.
She noted that a round was held for purebred crossbred horses, during which 7 horses competed, 3 of which had not previously participated in races, in addition to 4 that had previously been present in them.
Rashid Al Balushi, a member of the Supervisors Committee of the Emirates Horse Racing Authority, explained that the races will continue until the end of the current season, at various tracks across the country, and that all requirements will be provided for their success and the achievement of their goals.
