"Out Global Logistics" Opens its first regional headquarters in "Duffs"

Dubai, December 25 / WAM / Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ), affiliated with the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIES), announced the opening of the regional headquarters of AWOT Global Logistics, in a strategic step that reflects the confidence of one of the leading global companies in the field of logistics services and solutions in the vitality of the business environment in the Emirate of Dubai, and its position as a global center for supply chains and cross-border trade.

The new regional headquarters of AWOT in the Dubai Airport Free Zone was opened by Arif Al Khouri, Senior Vice President of Customer Services at the Dubai Airport Free Zone, and Chris Young, General Manager of the Middle East and North Africa region at AWOT. In the presence of David Li, Chief Operating Officer, Kenny Li, Chief Commercial Officer, Sophia Zeng, Vice President of External Units, and Kai Zhang, Sales Director from AWOT, along with a number of officials from DAFs, in an occasion that reflects the strategic importance of this step in terms of the company’s regional expansion and strengthening Dubai’s position as a global center for supply chains and logistics services.

The inauguration of the new headquarters of AWOT in DAFZ comes within the framework of the company’s strategy aimed at strengthening its regional presence and supporting its operations in the Middle East, Africa and European markets from Dubai, taking advantage of the emirate’s strategic location, its advanced infrastructure, and its global logistical efficiency.

This step embodies DAFZ’s commitment to attract leading international companies in advanced logistics sectors, and to support the growth of international trade and smart supply chains, by providing an integrated business system within its economic regions, thus enhancing Dubai’s position as a global center for logistics services, and a strategic gateway linking Asia to regional and global markets.

Arif Al Khouri said that the opening of the regional headquarters of AWOT in DAFZ reflects the increasing confidence enjoyed by major international companies in Dubai, and confirms its ability to provide an integrated business environment that supports expansion and sustainable growth. This step is consistent with our efforts to consolidate the emirate’s position as a global center for supply chains and logistics services among the five most important logistics centers around the world, and to connect it with 400 new international cities with commercial corridors, which contributes to achieving the goals of the Dubai Agenda. Economic D33, which aims to double the size of the emirate’s economy and consolidate its position among the top three economic cities in the world.

AWOT is headquartered in China, where it employs more than 1,500 employees, and has an operational network that includes 55 self-operated sites in China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asian countries, in addition to a strategic presence in North America and Europe, and a global partner network that includes more than 300 agents in more than 100 countries. The company was also ranked among the top 10 air freight companies in the world, occupying ninth place in the world according to the Armstrong & Associates classification for the year 2025, with more than 1,800 dedicated flights from Asia to the United States, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East, with an air freight volume of about 780 thousand metric tons.
