The Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi organizes interactive activities in Liwa Village

Abu Dhabi, December 26 / WAM / The Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi participates in Liwa Village, within the Liwa International Festival, through a series of interactive activities within the framework of the “Madeem” initiative and the Emirati Family Growth Program “Nomu”.

Until next January 4, the department provides visitors with two interactive stations in the two festivals that highlight the messages of the “Madeem” initiative and the “Nomu” program.

The “Your Different Roles – Madeem” station invites visitors to undergo a unique experience based on standing in the middle of circular mirrors and seeing their multiple reflections, which symbolizes the various dimensions that their roles entail as a marriage partner.

This experience demonstrates how the loyalty, affection, and commitment of the two partners to the development of their relationship and family contribute to supporting its stability, emotional security, and building their shared life, and reinforces Madeem’s message, which focuses on the fact that the marriage bond based on partnership forms the basis for a prosperous family and a sustainable legacy.

As for the “Our Story that Grows with Us – Nomu” station, it offers a platform based on interactive modules that display video clips specifically designed for the role played by the father, mother, older siblings, or caregivers in the family context.

Her Excellency Dr. Mona Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority and Executive Director of the “Madeem” initiative, said on this occasion that participation in Liwa Village confirms the commitment to communicating with families and couples, by providing experiences that embody the values of the “Madeem” initiative and the “Nomu” program. These stations provide opportunities for contemplation and also invite visitors to celebrate marriage as a partnership to build a stable home based on affection and harmony.
