And highlights The forum included 29 specific endowment initiatives across pavilions and sessions, in addition to the signing of 40 strategic agreements, in which 65 parties participated, including multilateral partnerships, with the aim of empowering and opening broader horizons for integration and institutional cooperation. The closing day program included a number of dialogue sessions, during which the participants discussed the reality of endowments and the prospects for their development, and reviewed innovative models and experiences that contribute to meeting societal needs and enhancing sustainability. The forum stressed the importance of supporting the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by developing the endowment sector and enhancing its contribution to the national economy, by documenting Endowments and their registration, raising awareness of their importance, motivating new donors, in addition to developing endowment banks to keep pace with renewable needs. The forum addressed four main topics that included: documenting and registering endowments and their sustainability, new donors and mechanisms for attracting them, innovation in endowment banks, institutional integration and strategic partnerships, in addition to holding dialogue sessions, specialized workshops and consultative meetings. The forum recommended a number of initiatives, most notably: developing mechanisms for documenting endowments using modern technologies such as geographical coordinates and aerial photography, enhancing electronic connectivity between relevant authorities, spreading awareness of the concept of endowment sustainability, and conducting periodic reviews of endowment formulas to meet the needs of society. It called for conducting specialized studies to monitor the characteristics of new endowments, designing innovative programs to attract them, and adopting modern methodologies in designing endowment banks based on innovation, in addition to forming committees. Specialized in developing solutions based on artificial intelligence, and enhancing the role of research institutions in this field. The forum called for the preparation of a standard guide for the governance of partnerships, and the establishment of specialized think tanks in endowments in partnership with universities and the non-profit sector, in a way that contributes to achieving institutional integration and maximizing the developmental impact of the endowment sector in the Kingdom. He expressed thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership – may God support it – for what His responsibility to support and care for endowments and charitable work, and to His Highness the Emir of the Medina region for his continuous patronage and support for the region’s initiatives. He appreciated the efforts of the General Authority for Endowments and its partners, praising the role of the Medina Chamber of Commerce in supporting and making its work successful.
