A dazzling display for the first time at Dubai Frame during New Year celebrations

The head of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team, and the Executive Director of the Waste and Sanitation Corporation in Dubai Municipality, Engineer Adel Mohammed Al Marzouqi, revealed that fireworks displays and drone displays will light up the emirate’s sky in an exceptional scene presented for the first time from the Dubai Frame, one of its most prominent architectural and tourism icons, during the New Year’s celebrations in 2026, pointing out that this event reflects Dubai Municipality’s investment in employing urban landmarks as vibrant platforms that combine visual dazzle and modern technologies. It attracts a wide audience of different nationalities.”
Al Marzouqi said, during a press conference held by the Events Insurance Committee to announce its comprehensive plan for New Year’s celebrations, that within the framework of organizing the celebration experience and ensuring the comfort and safety of the public, public beaches during New Year’s Eve were designated for families only, while it was decided to extend the working hours of 14 public parks until one o’clock after midnight, to provide the best viewing sites and enhance the comfort of visitors.
He pointed out that it includes Lim Lake Park – Hatta, Al Wadi Park – Hatta, Ghadeer Al Tair Lake Park, Al Barsha Lake Park, Al Twar Lake Park, Al Nahda Lake Park, Al Khawaneej Lake Park, Al Warqa Third Park (1), Umm Suqeim Park, Al Khazzan Park, Satwa Park, Zabeel Park, Al Safa Park, and Al Quoz First Park, in an organized festive scene that reflects Dubai’s high readiness and its ability to manage major events efficiently and responsibly.
He explained that Dubai Municipality has prepared a comprehensive plan to secure New Year’s celebrations in 2026, based on a proactive approach that puts community safety and public comfort at the top of priorities. The plan relies on integrated coordination with the Dubai Police General Command, the Roads and Transport Authority, and the Resilience Center, to ensure crowd management, organize traffic, and enhance flow in vital locations. The plan also includes integrated field readiness covering beaches, public parks, recreational facilities, waste operations, health and safety, and food safety, ensuring a safe and organized celebratory environment that reflects the civilized appearance of the emirate and enhances community confidence in Dubai’s ability to manage major events efficiently and competently.
