A surprise in the White House…the official spokeswoman announces her pregnancy

White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt announced on Friday that she is expecting a baby next May, making her the first woman to announce her pregnancy while holding this important position.
“The greatest birthday gift we could wish for a baby girl due in May,” Leavitt wrote on her Instagram account.
Levitt thanked President Donald Trump for his support and “nurturing a family-friendly environment in the White House.”
Levitt, 28, who is married to real estate developer Nicholas Riccio and has a son, became the youngest White House spokeswoman ever when she was appointed to this position in January at the start of Trump’s second term.
Leavitt has earned a reputation as a fierce defender of President Trump in her daily press conferences.
