“Al-Masaha”: 29,777 real estate deals worth 1.6 billion dinars during 2025

Official statistics issued by the Survey and Land Registration Bureau in the Kingdom of Bahrain showed that the year 2025 witnessed record activity in the real estate sector, with the total number of deals reaching 29,777 deals worth 1.6 billion dinars.

The data revealed that the second half of the year surpassed the first half in terms of the number of deals, as it recorded 16,325 deals, while December recorded the highest number of deals during the year with 3,154 deals, worth 151.9 million dinars.

The month of April was among the most notable months for an increase in market activity, as 2,690 transactions were recorded, while January recorded the lowest number of transactions at 1,358 transactions, and the number of transactions in February reached 1,979 transactions, and in March 1,637 transactions, then April 2,690 transactions, while May witnessed the recording of 1,784 transactions, according to the agency’s official data.

The real estate trading sector recorded stable activity in June, as the value of trades amounted to about 77,015 million dinars distributed over 1,767 real estate deals, while in the first half of the year, the total value of real estate trading amounted to about 532.7 million dinars, with a total of 11,215 deals.

The annual comparison showed that real estate performance for the year 2025 recorded the highest trading value during the last decade, as the total trading value increased from 1.036 billion dinars in 2016 to 1.581 billion dinars in 2025, an increase of 544 million dinars, with a growth rate of 52.6%.

On the other hand, the number of transactions increased from 17,434 transactions to 29,196 transactions, with a growth rate of 67.5% during the same period. The monthly data for the year 2025 shows varying levels of activity, as the number of transactions ranged between 1,799 transactions at the lowest level and 3,229 transactions at the highest level during the year.
