$16.75 billion in online shopping sales in Korea during November

Online shopping sales in the Republic of Korea jumped by 6.8% last November on an annual basis to record a record high, driven by strong demand for food-related services, according to data released yesterday, from the Korean Ministry of Data and Statistics. The Korean Yonhap News Agency reported that the value of online shopping transactions reached 24.15 trillion won (16.75 billion US dollars) during November, an increase of 1.53 trillion won over the previous year, according to ministry data.
