7 explosions rock the Venezuelan capital, Caracas
Agence France-Presse reported that strong explosions and sounds resembling the roar of aircraft flying were heard in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, starting at approximately 2:00 local time (6:00 GMT).
Hearing these voices, the cause of which is not yet known, comes against the backdrop of tension in the Caribbean region and threats from US President Donald Trump to strike Venezuela.
The Associated Press reported that at least seven explosions occurred, while the buzzing of a plane was heard at low altitude in the Venezuelan capital.
