200 businessmen and company presidents are part of the South Korean delegation to China

Yesterday, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung began an official four-day visit to China, during which he hopes to be able to promote peace efforts on the Korean Peninsula, hours after North Korea conducted ballistic missile tests, at a time when more than 200 South Korean business leaders appeared to be accompanying Myung.
Myung is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping during the visit, in their second meeting in just two months, which is an unusually short period between two meetings. Analysts say this indicates China’s keen interest in enhancing economic cooperation and tourism, at a time when its relations with Japan have deteriorated to the lowest level in years.
China Central Television reported that more than 200 South Korean business leaders were accompanying Myung, and photos published by the South Korean Yonhap News Agency showed that among the delegation figures were the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samsung Electronics, Jay Y. Lee, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SK Group, Chi Tae-won, and the CEO of the Hyundai Motor Group, Euisun Chung. The television said that the two countries are expected to discuss issues such as investment. In supply chain, digital economy and cultural exchanges.
