US Vice President: Trump made an offer to Maduro "More than one way out"

He said US Vice President Jay DeVance Saturday that Venezuelahas ignored several offers to reach a settlement, adding that its president, Nicolas Maduro, who was arrested, is… "The last person to realize that the president Donald Trump means what he says".

Vance reported on the X platform that "The president offered more than one way out, but he was clear throughout this operation: drug trafficking must be ended and the stolen oil must be returned to the United States."

Vance also stressed the American justification for the step, considering that Maduro is a fugitive from American justice, saying: "You cannot avoid justice for drug trafficking in the United States because you live in a mansion in Caracas".
